Welcome to bump maternity + baby online store!

People always ask me how i came up with the idea to open a maternity store and the answer is really very simple. Owing my own store has always been a dream of mine! After living in both Ottawa and Toronto i grew to love shopping in boutiques because it always gave me the opportunity to find unique items for myself and as gifts, but also helped me to meet some really great shop owners who exemplified great customer service!

And so.... bump maternity + baby was born in the spring of 2007 to provide stylish and eco-friendly options for moms-to-be and new families. After continued searching for items to provide as gifts and hearing friends complain of nothing to wear during their pregnancies, it seemed only perfect to open a boutique to offer what was missing in our local marketplace. At bump maternity + baby our goal is to help moms-to-be and new moms feel great about themselves whether it is in a business suit, a great pair of jeans or functional workout wear.

We love to continually bring in fresh items and welcome suggestions from our customers and friends. When choosing items for the store, we look for three main “ingredients” - Stylish, Fresh and Natural.  Our designers are mainly Canadian I do believe in the importance of supporting our local economy and reducing our environmental impact by purchasing locally made items.  We strive to provide great service and help you to look and feel great during this exciting time!
